- Why did you start to do Pilates?
- I wanted to limber up and regain some of my lost flexibility. Due to a heart condition I've never been able to do sports, but a Pilates regime adapted to my physical condition allowed me to get moving again.
- How did you hear about the PW studio?
- I had heard an interview with Ann on Radio2, just before her studio opened.
We've been one of her very first clients, and we're still here every week!
- Do you remember what your first impressions of a Pilates class were?
- For me it was a different way of moving but a good one.
- What kind of effect do the Pilates exercises have on you?
- I'm in better shape than I ever was and my posture has improved immensely.
- What is your favourite exercise (and why)?
- Rolling Like a Ball because it really relaxes my back.
- The Swan on the barrel, because I'm good at it and I feel it really opens up my upper torso.
- I do a duet session twice a week with my friend Rita.
- Do you do Pilates at home every now and then?
- Every now and then I practice the Roll Up at home, because after all this time it's still a hard exercise for me to do.
